USN Tokyo is seeking a dynamic Account Director to elevate our Accounts and Producers team to new heights. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mainly communicating with clients and solving problems.
  • Account direction and working closely and managing account team.
  • Supervise and train Account Executives and Account Managers.
  • Making proposals to clients that require creative solutions.
  • Work with clients as well as affiliated agency partners both domestic and global on advertising-related projects.
  • Creating appropriate costings and managing schedules and budgets.
  • Working on upselling and expanding the business on existing clients.
  • Pushing back clients when necessary and leading hard negotiations to benefit the agency.
  • Being a liaison between management and account team

REQUIREMENTS

  • High proficiency in Account Management,
  • At least 7 years of experience in the advertising industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Supervisor or above is necessary, along with possessing extensive knowledge of production processes.
  • Experience in developing and implementing brand strategy for client projects is a huge bonus!!
  • High proficiency in Japanese, fluent in English.
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in brand marketing.
  • First adopter attitude (be the first to try) and sensitivity to and interest in the latest trends.
  • Team player with the ability to lead a small team.
  • Ability to create proposals with a logical and strategic approach.
  • Demonstrated capacity to conceptualize strategic solutions for clients coupled with a keen aptitude for innovative creative solutions.
