Accountant/Sr.Accountant, FMCG, No Japanese required

This position will have an all-around accounting scope and join the accounting team of 4-5 staff.
Client Details
Global FMCG company, the leader in its industry. The global headcount is over 20000 employees.
Japan has around 50 employees and keeps growing.
Japan's sales channel is wholesale.
Description
For Candidates who speak both English and Japanese:
* This position will support the Accounting team with all-around financial accounting tasks such as: AP, AR, GL, Monthly/Quarterly/Year End Closings.
* Will work with the 3rd party Tax and Auditors.
* Support the team with process improvements and automations.
For Candidates who speak only English:
* This position will support mainly AP functions. (Since other functions require Japanese fluency.
* Will be supporting the team with the communication of overseas stakeholders.
* Support the team with process improvements and automations.
Profile
* Financial accounting experience
* Willingness to learn and develop accounting + finance skills (like FP&A, Controlling etc.)
* SAP usage experience will be an advantage
* FMCG or a similar industry experience will be an advantage
* Inventory control experience will be an advantage
* English or Japanese fluency. Fluency in both will be an advantage.
