Job Description

  • Review financial reporting packages to ensure its accuracy for month end closing
  • Conduct flux analysis and perform month end reconciliation for all G/L account codes
  • Collaborate with the external service provider to disclose financial data with local statutory compliance
  • Support regional tax team to file tax returns (Corporate income tax, Consumption taxes and Depreciable asset tax)
  • Supervise payroll process for its timely and accurate operation
  • Supervise AP and Expense reimbursement function for accounting closing activities
  • Support strategic/operational business change processes from finance and controlling perspective

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in finance/accounting or equivalent military experience
  • Over 5 years of finance or accounting experience
  • Over 7 years relevant experience in an international reporting environment
  • Native level in Japanese and Business level in English for speaking and writing
  • US GAAP and Japan GAAP knowledge
  • Strong leader with proactive attitude
  • Being self motivated and passionate to grow
  • Working experience in a fast paced environment

Ideal skills or qualifications

  • USCPA/JCPA/Licenced tax accountant
  • Knowledge and experiences with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or other equivalent spreadsheet applications
  • Detail oriented
