We are looking for an Android Engineer to help us with the implementation of improved UX and interactive features that drive business growth.

Position Details

This is a full-time position located in Tokyo and reports to the Manager of Development. As an Android Engineer, your primary focus will be to help us continue to design and build the best mobile shopping experience for Android devices.
This ideal candidate must be a highly motivated individual, self-starter with excellent communication and team collaboration skills. A passion for solving business problems and exceeding expectations through the development of leading edge, disruptive technologies are extremely desired.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Development experience of Android app using Kotlin and Java.
- Understanding Material Design.
- Experience and knowledge in Java.
- Experience with popular architecture: MVP, MVVM, etc.
- Knowledge in REST API.
- Code version control using Git.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience with apps release and operation for consumer.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and how to improve.
- Understanding in user oriented and user first product development.
- Experience on Jetpack Compose.
- Experience on Dependency Injection such as Dagger and Hilt.
