Our global team is in significant growth currently, and many aspects of our operations—such as objectives tracking, prioritization, and global communications—are being established gradually under the leadership of the Vice President, and the Technical Advisor. The Arene Business Operations Program Manager will be a key contributor for this. The role will report directly to the Technical Advisor of Arene. You will report the Technical Advisor of Arene, and you will be onsite in Nihombashi, Tokyo.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FORAs Arene Business Operations Program Manager, you will partner with the global head of the Arene LoB and a daily basis, with the Technical Advisor of Arene to define LoB global operations initiatives that lead the LoB to operate as a World Class company, ensuring proper execution practices ato deliver quality products to please customers and stakeholders. You will create programs and systems within a high-growth organization. Your responsibility is to lead organization-wide transformation and impact.
RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the Vice President and Technical Advisor of Arene Line of Business (LoB) to define global operational programs.
This includes:- Track and report on yearly goals, taking action on risks and issues in cooperation with global LoB leaders- Define programs to achieve yearly goals within LoB and other Woven entities- Manage weekly staff meetings by preparing agendas, taking notes, assigning action items, and tracking them to closure- Build a network to gather information useful for planning and prioritizing the LoB's work- Execute the communication plan from the head of Arene LoB to employees- Plan activities and travels for the head of the LoB following priorities, making proactive suggestions-Foster a culture of operational excellence and engineering by: - Ensure best practices for follow-up on action items - Manage through risk assessment - Assist Arene Leadership team in their Kaizen activities-Operational Excellence: - Set key performance indicators to improve team performance - Transform ideas into reality by providing hands-on support and monitoring progress-Program Management: - Oversee strategic programs with skillful oversight and proactive decision-making - Facilitate meetings and workshops with planning and coordination

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated skills in program management, communication planning and strategic planning in global organizations
• Experience with Agile Methodologies and Mindset
• 5 - 7+ years experience engaging with executives
• Experience navigating through ambiguous situations
• Experience with operational management
• Successful track record in the delivery of systems solutions that blend logical and physical elements
• Fluency in English and in Japanese

NICE TO HAVES:

• Experience with modern system of systems products in civil or defense marketplaces
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma
• Experience in the transportation industry and with OEMs
