Asset Management - Sales Support, Japan Institutional Business – Vice President

As an Vice President Sales Support in the Institutional Business Team, you will support the Sales Team to manage full spectrum of administrative activities for the Japan Institutional Business and enhance the sales support function.

  • Assist Client Advisors to jointly provide reports, data, invoices, inputs into workflow to activate RFP and non-standard fee approval process and Sales Experience Platform (SEP).
  • Be a champion of SEP and manage the list of client distribution list and work closely with stakeholders to upgrade the quality of data and efficiency of input works under SEP.
  • Lead drafting NFBA (New Fund Business Approval) and NBIA (New Business Initiative Approval) application draft in collaboration with Client Advisors.
  • Manage the overall administrative affairs of sales team including Communication Control Group (CCG) check and work closely with sales to provide high quality of client service
  • Assist in marketing events / sales training / seminars and coordinate with internal parties to preparing all related materials
  • Coordinate and assist with events planning, client training, regular/ad-hoc client meeting
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc client reports on a regular basis in collaboration with Institutional Client Advisors and Client Service Team.
  • Review and identify ways to streamline sales and operation processes on an on-going basis

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years relevant experience in Finance or related field
  • Passion for the investments business with broad understanding across all asset classes and portfolio analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with formulas, performance methodology and risk analytics
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
  • Highly proactive, organized and detail oriented. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. Ability to multi-task while delivering results with quality
  • Audit and controls focused
  • Good command in spoken and written English skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiar with Python
  • Knowledge of regulation, platform and workflow
