We are looking for a Business Consultant for Analytics in Tokyo! As a subject matter expert of our Analytics solutions pre-sale, you will help to differentiate proposals.

You will be working in a diverse environment and collaboratively engage customer’s key business decision makers and users. Business Consultant is the customer trusted advisor to build and grow our solution values to help our customers achieve their business goal.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the sales of Fixed Income Data solutions

  • Provide consultancy to the client to understand our solutions and technical requirements

  • Proactively and consistently seek for new opportunities

  • Deliver customer demonstrations on our product offerings

  • Collaborate with different functions and Customer Consulting groups in delivering large-scale solutions

  • Maintain understanding of Analytics solutions, including Yield Book, StarMine, Instrument Pricing Analytics(IPA), Lipper and others, value propositions to initiate new use case discussions

  • Drive pipeline of opportunities to expand and retain net revenue

  • Continuously develop new solutions and service packages to different customers

  • Liaison with partner groups and maintain relationships with key accounts

  • Prepare relevant documentations related to the sales opportunities

  • Develop custom solutions and provide consultancy services to new and existing clients

  • Understand client’s business, workflows, priorities and decision-making strategy

  • Deliver all customer orders within the agreed-upon cutoff or the group’s SLA, whichever comes first while continually updating customers on updated status

Who You Are

  • Proficient in both Japanese and English (both spoken and written)

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to efficiently balance multiple client interactions

  • Build strong trust and positive relations with clients and colleagues

  • Problem solving - ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs

  • Eager to learn and grow in the customer facing position and the changing condition

  • Strong listening skills, ability to develop and deliver a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology

  • Successful track record of attainment of company goals in a fast-moving changing environment

  • A significant level of energy, self-motivation, determination, and a desire to positively impact the business.

  • Have financial markets knowledge in one of the following domains: Investment Banking, Asset Management, Fixed Income, Portfolio Management

  • Have programming experience with Python
