Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth in the manufacturing industry in Japan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Substance's market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the manufacturing sector.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in Japan.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business development strategies and client requirements.
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese manufacturing sector and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both in Japanese and English.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Analytical skills to interpret market data and identify business opportunities.
