About the Role

The Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) at Fivetran plays a crucial role within the Marketing organisation, closely collaborating with the GTM Sales Org.

An exciting opportunity to be the first Japanese BDR at Fivetran! We're looking for an Enterprise Business Development Representative to help increase revenue across accounts in the Japanese market. This role is perfect for a dynamic sales professional with previous experience in a similar role, looking to help scale out a game-changing enterprise software company and have the opportunity to really accelerate your career. You will report to the APAC BDR Director in Australia.
This is a full time position located remotely in Japan.

What You’ll Do

  • Hunting & Outbounding - Account mapping into both Enterprise and Commercial while prospecting and generating meetings with all levels of employees from C-Level to data analysts.
  • Outbound prospecting into Named accounts in net new territories. This person should have experience prospecting into Enterprise customers, identifying key decision makers, understanding their challenges and securing sales qualified opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a deep interest in our Enterprise customers' data challenges and pain points while being able to give an intro of what Fivetran does at an enterprise level with the ultimate goal of setting up valuable engagements with our account executives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Enterprise/Commercial Account Executives, Marketing and Alliances to drive pipeline generation and exceed revenue goals.
  • Following predesigned sales strategies (and sometimes developing and implementing their own) to grow the business and hit account acquisition targets (the how). Master the Fivetran consultative, Command of the Message and Challenger sales process.
  • Using pre-created cadences based on Industry, Persona, Use Case and adding personalisation to it.
  • Creating personalised cadences specific to the account and use case.
  • Following specific plays created for the team (Snowflake Customer, SAP or HVR use cases).
  • Translation of English sequences/Documents to Japanese
  • Organise, log activity, and categorise sales lead information into Salesforce.com.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in Japanese with business-level English is a requirement.
  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience managing inbound and outbound sales and inquiries.
  • Strong technical aptitude and a passion for technology.
  • A drive to succeed and contribute to the growth of a leading-edge enterprise software company.
  • A proven track record of delivering measurable results.
  • A high level of responsibility and accountability.
  • High-level understanding of the enterprise data space
