Department Overview

In our Merchandising Business, one of the core IP Contents Business, we work with various services of the Rakuten Group, Inc. and continue to bring entertainment to the world through merchandising, such as product development and events using internal and external IPs, product development and sales on our own e-commerce site “Rakuten Collection,” and operation of an official IP shop on Rakuten Ichiba. We also plan and develop goods and sell them on our own e-commerce site, “Rakuten Collection,” and operate an official IP store on Rakuten Ichiba.

In addition, as a service unique to Rakuten (Merchandising), we provide innovation and solutions through merchandising, including strategic and technical support for our partner companies' merchandising.

Position Details

We plan and produce goods utilizing various IPs of other companies as original products for online character raffles in Rakuten Collection.

Case Operation

We are in charge of providing general operational support to ensure the smooth progress of acquired projects in collaboration and cooperation with internal and external parties.

Operation Support Practices

In cooperation with the staff in charge of organization, business management, legal, accounting, and other operations, you will manage the progress of the project to ensure that there are no delays in the necessary tasks.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- 2 years or more experience in B to C business such as e-commerce, events, etc.

- 2 years or more experience in project management.

*Experience in business support, back office, store construction, etc. is also acceptable.

Desired Qualifications:

- Able to work independently and take initiative and be self-sufficient.

- Experience in management, including launching, operating, and managing businesses and projects.

- Proficiency in Excel (sumif, pivot, simple formulas, etc.), Word, etc.

- Experience in people management (small number of people is also acceptable).
