Department Overview

Mission
The main mission is to lead the formulation and execution of long-term growth strategies for Rakuten Group's advertising business. This involves identifying growth opportunities through market analysis, competitive analysis, and internal data analysis, and planning strategies to realize these opportunities. Additionally, the role includes proposing strategies to internal and external stakeholders, creating business plans, setting and monitoring KPIs, and driving initiatives to improve overall organizational performance, playing a central role in achieving the company's goals.

Position Details

Currently, we are restructuring our business strategy and exploring new growth opportunities in response to the expansion of our advertising business and market changes. This recruitment aims to strengthen the corporate division, make more strategic decisions, and establish a system for sustainable growth.
Job Overview
- Formulating and managing budget plans (KPI, PL).
- Conducting numerical and competitive analysis based on business KPIs.
- Building and operating systems for visualizing and real-time tracking of KPIs.
- Visualizing business performance and reporting to management based on quantitative data such as PL and KPIs.
- Handling other management-related tasks.
Additionally, we expect you to proactively identify and solve problems for organizational growth, not just wait for instructions. This includes conducting research, analysis, preparing materials, making presentations, and accurately reporting to supervisors. This is a crucial department at the core of Rakuten Group's advertising business, ideal for those who want to grow significantly along with the organization and have a positive, passionate attitude.

This position is newly established and consists of two members
One executive officer (concurrent role)
One team member

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience in data analysis and P/L creation.
- Experience in budget management and business management.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks based on priorities.
- Logical and structured explanation skills.
- Intermediate or advanced skills in Excel and BI tools (ability to use intermediate functions and design macros).
- Extensive experience in creating materials with PowerPoint (ability to document discussion content quickly and accurately).

- Basic accounting knowledge (equivalent to Bookkeeping Level 3).

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country)
In this case, it is necessary to achieve a TOEIC Score exceeding 800 after joining Rakuten in order to be eligible to become a regular employee.
If no evidence is available to prove the qualifications denoted above, taking an IP test, organized by Rakuten, during selection process is required.
