We have an excellent opportunity for a business development professional to join our growing and diverse Partners team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing and extending our partner channels with the power of LSEG’s content, benchmarks & indices, analytics and workflow solutions behind them. Role summary:

Channel Partner Manager, Japan is a key and exciting role at the core of the LSEG’s growth strategy. Our Partners help us innovate faster, build sales channels we might not reach on our own and co-generate ideas, solutions and technology that our customers demand.

The focus of the role will be to drive growth mainly for Data & Analytics business by empowering our sales force to sell through a connected, growing channel of coordinated Partners. The role also involves identifying and onboarding relevant new regional partners and key redistribution channels.

What you'll bring:

The ideal candidate would have sales, business development, relationship management or product/industry experience in financial markets. Experience in risk management & regulatory compliance and sustainability businessis also preferred, with a demonstrable background of:

  • 5+ years proven experience in solution sales, C-level account management or relationship management / business development; strong communications skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial foresight
  • Experience, industry network & subject matter expertise in one or more areas of Risk & Compliance Solutions, Digital Identity & Fraud, Enterprise Data, Trading Solutions, Investment Management, Risk Management, regulatory compliance
  • At least Business level in both Japanese and English
  • Consistent track record to implement and operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization. Self-starter who can take initiative within the context of the strategic objectives.
  • Ability to collaborate closely and drive a project/initiative throughout all levels and multiple departments within an organisation
  • Ability to identify priorities with Partner and Sales leadership, and define/deliver innovative partnership initiatives in line with sales objectives
  • Creative thinker and good sales ideation skills
  • Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong & collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and execute a sales plan
