Join Our Dynamic Institutional Sales Team!

We are on the lookout for a dedicated professional to manage client accounts for our esteemed institutional clients, including financial institutions and pension funds. As a key member of our Institutional Sales team—which includes two sales professionals and four client account managers—you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch account management to our existing clients while also engaging with potential prospects.

What you will do:

• Generate regular for our esteemed clients and engage in meaningful face-to-face meetings to strengthen partnerships.
• Engage with institutional investors and distributors across a diverse range of asset classes, with a focus on credit and alternative investments.
• Innovate and refine procedures related to Client Relationship Management, ensuring our services are top-notch.
• Navigate complex communications with finesse, both externally and internally, to maintain our high standards of professionalism.
• Collaborate closely with team members on various client service enhancement projects, including Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Know Your Customer (KYC) initiatives, compliance with regulatory changes, launching new products, and overseeing On-/Off-Boarding processes.
• Support our sales efforts by facilitating agreement sign-offs, new account openings, incentive programs, and product launches.
• Potentially, take on a leadership role for a specific product, deepening your expertise and contributing to the development of marketing materials and refreshing existing tools.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues across the globe, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.

What you bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Quantitative Analysis
• In-depth knowledge of asset classes, including private assets, fixed income, equities, and/or multi-asset strategies
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in asset management or similar fields, with a preference for candidates with experience in institutional client service or client management roles
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in Japanese, enabling effective collaboration and relationship-building
• Proficiency in business-level English and strong computer skills


Preferred Attributes:
• Possession of CFA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications would be a distinct advantage
• A robust foundation in quantitative analysis
• Key Qualities we value include

• A background in offshore fund vehicle schemes, corporate analysis, or private assets is a definite plus
• Experience in sales or client-facing roles within asset management or other financial sectors will be highly regarded
