About
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
The responsibilities of Sales team are as follows:
- Provide full-funnel solutions to solve our clients' marketing challenges
- Monetize our advertisement products, such as TikTok for Business, through partnerships with advertisers and advertisement agencies
- Use information and knowledge that we have as ByteDance and make proposals to our clients
- Manage existing accounts and develop new clients (advertisers and advertisement agencies in Japan)
- Grow our business through collaboration with internal stakeholders
Our Sales team consists of Client Partners, who conduct sales activities directly for advertisers, and Agency Partners, who promote sales activities for advertising agencies.
Client Partner will carry out all tasks from advertising strategy planning to closing so that our platforms such as “TikTok” and “Pangle” will become important marketing tools for clients. Specific tasks are as follows.
1. Discovery and analysis of clients' needs and challenges
2. Proposal of optimal advertisement solutions using in-house apps
3. Development of new clients and management of existing clients in the Japanese market
4. Communication with other departments in order to discover and solve problems in existing operations
5. Planing and execution of sales strategies by industry and product
6. Accumulation of knowledge and feedback to internal marketing, product and operation departments
7. Execution and support of various projects, such as: package proposal/sales promotion PJ, product sales promotion PJ, operation improvement PJ, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluency in business English due to cross functional meetings with other regions
- Deep understanding of digital marketing and able to strategically approach advertisers and advertisement agencies
- Proven experience in coaching, mentoring and training your peers and team members
- Team-worker who can collaborate well with other functions and other regions
- Proven experience managing large advertisements and campaign budget
- Able to enjoy the rapidly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Mentor and coach the team members to ensure they can perform their sales activities smoothly
- Be responsible for the team members' long-term career success at TikTok
