About your team

Client Services - Wholesale team primarily supports the retail channel. We handle the logistics of prospectuses and other documents, as well as respond to various inquiries from clients (mutual fund distributors). Building strong trust-based relationships with many distributors leads to business success.

About your role
1. Mainly being responsible for Offshore Fund operation and the Oversight

  • Ensure robust and coherent front to back operational workflows
  • Develop and reinforce monitoring of daily production and oversight
  • Ensure each area of Operations is managed in a controlled, documented and supervised manner in compliance with respective regulation and our internal policies/standards/procedures/governance
  • Maintain strong risk control focus, escalate potential incidents and close audit points in timelines agreed with the audit team

2. Being responsible for other Client Servicing tasks

  • Support to complete AML due diligence for clients in coordination with other teams
  • Sign off fund reporting and marketing materials
  • Utilize the system to deliver prospectuses, sales materials, annual/semi-anual reports and monthly reports to our clients without delay
  • Act as a preferred point of contact for all client queries received through various channels (emails, calls, notifications from Relationship Managers), takes ownership and ensures adequate answers within agreed timeframes
  • Collaborate with the Dalian support team and relevant internal departments to smoothly carry out the work
  • Take leadership proactively and contribute local/global projects

About you

  • Working knowledge of the offshore fund (incl. Luxembourg and Cayman)
  • Strong English language skills (written & spoken), sufficient to effectively communicate with global teams
  • Certification of securities sales representative証券外務員 and / or 内部管理者 is preferred
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, supporting colleagues as needed
  • Approach problem-solving with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Logical thinking, excellent time management skills, accuracy
  • Native Japanese language skills, including excellent business writing
  • Client service experience covering Wholesale channel is an advantage
  • Broad knowledge of financial markets and the Asset Management Industry with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the industry
