The ESR Data Center team is responsible for the land acquisition, finance, fund management, design, construction, and asset management of ESR Group’s data centres. We are a diverse team of real estate developers, engineering, construction, design, and finance professionals who drive the end-to-end delivery of data center capacity - from strategy and land acquisition through finance, design, construction, and final handover. Today, we are developing in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia. We pride ourselves in moving at speed while maintaining the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and safety in delivering the critical infrastructure that powers today’s modern digital society.

Requirements

As part of ESR Japan’s construction management team, you will work with ESR and ESR’s JV partners to ensure the smooth and efficient design, procurement, construction, and delivery of ESR’s new JV data centres across Japan. You will be responsible for the project management and delivery of our JV data centres in Japan.

Monitor the execution of the project scope from preconstruction, construction, and close – out;
Manage approved changes for field implementation;
Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering scope, budget and overall project status;
Inspect project work to contract and design standards;
Engage in site safety and actively promote delivery of a safe facility though your own actions and mentoring onsite personnel;
Identify and assist in the mitigation of project risks and monitor the development and implementation of corrective action plans;
Support the change management process in providing clarification and guidance on questions regarding scope, justification, and technical detail;
Inspect and manage construction logistics, procurement, and supply chain management, including Owner Furnished Contractor Installed equipment;
Establish, coordinate, and attend / conduct all necessary project meetings.
