Volvo Cars Retail Solutions (VCRS) is a Volvo Cars owned company delivering a Dealer Management System, enabling Volvo Dealers in Sweden, Norway, and Japan to drive efficient, more automated business processes which makes it easier to sell cars, achieve higher customer satisfaction, strengthen the Volvo brand and generate increased profit for Volvo Cars and the retailers.
VCRS is maintaining the operations, support, maintenance, and development of new functionalities within the dealer management system. Main business value is created within sales, workshop & parts processes.

What you'll do

We seek a proactive and experienced person to oversee the enhancement and improvement of our dealer management system TACDIS within the Japanese Market. This role requires a deep understanding of IT solutions, change management, and stakeholder engagement in a global company environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the implementation of enhancements and improvements in the dealer management system (TACDIS), ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency
• Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new TACDIS features and functionalities
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to achieve project goals
• Manage stakeholders across different departments and regions, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the implementation process
• Leverage experience in rolling out larger IT solutions to ensure scalability and reliability of TACDIS across the dealer network in Japan
• Collaborate closely with global teams to integrate local requirements and ensure consistency in TACDIS functionality and performance

What you'll bring

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an implementation lead or project manager ideally within the automotive industry, with a focus on dealer management systems
• Strong background in change management, with the ability to drive organizational transformation and adoption of new technologies
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of managing vendor relationships and contracts effectively
• Demonstrated success in rolling out large-scale IT solutions, preferably within a global company setting
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating cross-functional teams and diverse cultural environments
• Fluent in both Japanese and English, with proficiency in both verbal and written communication
• Prior experience in global companies is highly preferred, understanding the complexities of international operations and compliance
