Mainly interferences Design AQP and NPI cross function team, and occasionally vendors regarding quality issues during NPI phase or design issue exposure & Technical supports. Design review with design team for new product development phase, Monitor and review new products design and process development quality risks, guide and coordinate technical support. Initiatively drive cross functional team quality risks minimize or eliminate in NPI phase, coordinate them solve G5 & G9 QN effectively.

Interface GQE, internal & external customers during NPI Phase, understand customer VOC and be fully leveraged into product & process development, response for quality issue feedback and coordinate internal engineers at any level and management up to the managers level for issue risk assessment and properly shipment judgement.

Internal contacts would include engineers at any level and management up to the plant manager level. Fully communicated with MQA during PDP phase 6 to 7 to hand over all NPI product information and quality controls/PFMEA/history data and L&L.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Proactively engage into new project be assigned, involve into design review and process development review and come out robust process qualification plan full fill VOC, eliminate/minimize the product/process quality risk during NPI phase, timely provide AQP activity deliveries per CSBU PDP & NPI-Direct process, sufficient shipment judgement to keep NPI cross function team on the same page, and drive for improvement plan be in place on time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

Support QA manager to implement and maintain the quality system to meets and exceed the requirements of ISO and customer's expectation.

2.

Drive for NPI team follow CSBU PDP & NPI-Direct process, promptly raise quality risks and drive for improvement, lead quality CP review, on time delivery AQP activity outcomes.

3.

Engage into product and process design review per VOC, FOT review with design team, generate qualification plan and conduct qualification to tool/machine/process sufficiently with driving improvement activities.

4.

Interface with customer o understand VOC, and drive for effectively implement into product & process development.

5.

Drive Engineering team generate DFMEA, PFMEA and tooling FMEA, identify quality risks and leverage into qualification plan, drive for risks assessment and eliminate.

6.

To update AQP database regularly to ensure all project status are latest.

7.

Perform shipment judgement per sufficient risk assessment, and drive for cross function team proper decision-making meanwhile issue solving.

8.

Interference with customer for design related issue handling, leading internal cross-functional team solve complaints and feedback punctually.

9.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

SCOPE:

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED:

BS in an engineering discipline, science, or a minimum of 5 years working experience as a quality engineer

PREFERRED:

BS or MS in an engineering discipline most applicable to the processes assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

· 5 years customer or process quality experience.

· 3 years of advanced quality engineer with NPI products developing experience.

PREFERRED:

· 3 years minimum experience in the same work experience or processes as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:

  • Ability to review engineering analyses & drive to root cause of processing problems.
  • Acquaint at EU RoHS knowledge
  • Basic computer skills including PPT and other office tools.
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing, Reading & Speaking English.

PREFERRED:

  • Statistical technique, Quality tools, basic knowledge in ISO 9000 / QS 9000 / TS16949.
