About the role

Spa Fitness & Pool Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Spa Fitness and Pool. Manage employees and services in efficient ordering of supplies. Primary responsibility is to provide leadership, direction and supervision of staff in the daily operations of the Spa, including but not limited to gym/locker/pool and Spa membership program.

What you will do

  • Maintain a harmonious and professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors and all departments.
  • Provide appropriate training and feedback as well as guidance to spa team members to improve customer service experience and create unforgettable experiences for our guest. Assist in other areas of the department as needed.
  • Take ownership of customers and follow up on problems to make sure to find solutions on the requests.
  • Set up standard service operational procedures and train the team members.
  • Supporting the Director of Spa to analyze statistics and compile accurate reports
  • Managing the daily operations including personnel, finances, marketing and services offered.
  • Assist the Director of Spa in setting up Fitness programs.
  • Assist the Director of Spa in recruiting, grooming and appraisals.
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Reporting any malfunction or Engineering issue to the appropriate department.
  • Handling and prioritizing daily logistics to aid daily operations.
  • To provide a friendly and professional service that always exceeds guest's expectations. Comply with the hotel l s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety and Lead With Care are executed accordingly.
  • To comply with local legislation as required.
  • To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative.
  • Manages and executes daily duties of pool/Fitness and ensure seamless operation and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure sufficient operating equipment and supplies to cater for the various business needs.

What you bring

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese Language to prepare and deliver reports.
  • Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
  • Plan and monitor duties to ensure effective and efficient use of all available resources in order to make the greatest impact on the Hotel's/Resort's objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with peers, superiors and clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
  • Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
  • Require a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
  • Ability to conduct swim lesson in addition to personal training and stretch, and knowledge about pool.

Schedule & Hours:

• 40 working hours per week.

• 10 days off every month except February (9 days)
