About Organization
The Innovation Program Management Department collaborates on research tasks with various companies and universities, allowing involvement in projects such as the Space Mobile project and activities related to O-RAN, a key research and development initiative.
Currently, several government projects are ongoing in parallel, necessitating the need for new RAN engineers.
The Innovation Program Management Department is currently comprised of 5 sections, with the Project & Finance Management Section overseeing all project and financial aspects. The remaining 4 sections handle project activities based on research topics.
The vRAN research section seeks members with 5-10 years of experience in the mobile industry, with a background in eNB/gNB operation and maintenance, field development/verification, and RF improvement.
Job Duties
Business Outline: Execution of projects supported by the Japanese government.
Business Details: The following are required for project execution:
Finalize test items
Clarify measurement tools and base stations
Manage sub-contractors
Collaborate with vendors and other departments.
Business Procedures: Basic activities include managing test progress with sub-contractors and handling issues with vendors.
Responsibilities
Manage daily test progress and issues.
Report progress to the manager.
Attend meetings with vendors and R&D, and communicate through chat apps and email in English.
Minimum Qualifications
More than 3 years of experience in the mobile industry
Knowledge related to 3GPP
Understanding of basic specifications for 3GPP LTE/NR
Communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge related to the O-RAN Alliance
Experience in the mobile industry
Knowledge related to measuring wireless signals
Languages:
