IMI CIB - Accounting & Administration Manager

Scope and Purpose

To support daily financial controls, accounting operations and reconciliations
To support the enhancement of existing processes and procedures
To -support Head Office reporting and any relevant analysis
To participate in HO-and/or-APAC-led projects and to fulfil ad hoc assignments
To support office administration tasks as assigned by the Team Head
To support HR administrative work such leave records management, liaison with external vendor for payroll, tax and pension contribution etc.

Required Experience

5+ years of relevant experience. Right candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer

Competencies Required

Degree or above in Accounting disciplines;
Professional qualifications in Accounting;
Good knowledge of Financial reporting (IFRS and local JMIS);
Proficient with accounting system(s) and/or platform(s) as per working background;
Japanese mother togue or not less than (certified) proficiency by recognized Japanese Institution with very good command of spoken and written English;
Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, WORD and PowerPoint etc.;
Practical experience in Managerial reporting and Budget & Control;
Good knowledge of corporate and investment banking products and services (e.g. cash management, structured export finance, trade export finance, structured finance etc.)
