Your responsibilities

As our Institutional Client Services Specialist, Japan Institutional, you will be expected to passively take care of the client facing roles for non-core clients (ad-hoc inquiries, KYC/KYIs, etc.) under the supervision of the reporting manager.

  • Preparation of sales pitch materials, regular/ad-hoc client reporting, client letters in a speedy manner under time pressure. 4 eyes review of such the materials prepared by other staffs
  • Interaction with other team members or different divisions locally, regionally and globally to prepare RFP/RFIs
  • Potentially support onboarding process of new mandates for all asset classes
  • Understanding the overall business strategies and proactively support the entire team with the One Team spirit.
  • Ad-hoc project-type of assignments

We are looking for

  • Educated to BA degree level or above
  • 5-10 years of experience in servicing large financial institutions, gatekeepers and large public pension clients
  • Fiduciary and asset management experience, culture and understanding
  • Knowledge of relevant asset management and securities regulations
  • Native level in Japanese (written, reading and speaking) and Business to fluent level English (written, reading and speaking) for internal/external communication
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills working as a team.
  • PC skills (EXCEL, POWER POINT, WORD, BLOOMBERG etc)
  • Self motivated individual with a commitment to excellence
  • Professional attitude with strong desire to succeed
