Business Unit Overview:

Mission of Finance and Strategy is to be a trusted business partner and an industry thought leader supporting optimization of stakeholder value and act as a fiduciary by ensuring high quality financial reporting and rigorous risk oversight and controls.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for invoicing function for Japan contracting institutional clients, which include review of Investment Management Agreement (IMA) with institutional clients, Billing onboarding for client portfolios on BlackRock system, Revenue accounting, cash receipt accounting and monitoring of Accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation and the distribution of Management Fee Invoices utilizing Revport in line with IMA for Japan institutional clients with accuracy and timeliness.

• Closely work with Client business team and legal team to review IMA, and Billing onboarding to BlackRock system for client portfolios.

• Closely work with Client Reporting team for Data used for fee calculation.

• Actively involved in globally widen Billing system development project.

• Revenue from Japan institutional clients to be properly accounted in Oracle Accounting system and monitor the balance of Accounts Receivables.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5-7 years working experience of Billing roles is preferable

• Preferably 5-7 years working experience at asset management companies or other financial industry

• Native level of Japanese and Business level of English (read/write/speak)

• Demonstrated ability to communicate within BlackRock, including both locally and across geographies

• Excellent time and people management skills, especially for seasonal Billing Period.

• Demonstrate team player, ability to work on team project
