Job purpose
Assist the Logistics Manager with various daily office functions and assign duties to Logistics Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Payment request (tax/ Monthly broker bill/ Monthly warehouse bill)
- Shipment status tracking and documents collecting
- Open order and delivery schedule report
- Warehouse in/outbound & daily operation (Monitor)
- Inbound: Import customs clearance
- Outbound: Outbound request of marketing events and relative PR projects
Outbound requests of B2B order
Outbound request of counter replenishment
- Warehouse in/outbound & daily operation (Monitor)
- Repackaging schedule plan (Monitor)
- Customer order request report
- FD order request report/ goods receiving/ goods checking/ returning for repairing report
- FDA Tea Report / label printing/ EP Recycling report
- Monthly reports
- Stock take: counter/ 3PL warehouse/ EPOS system
Direct subordinates / organisation
Position will be located in Japan Tokyo Office. Possible visit to DC (Sachiura, Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama) once or twice a month.

Skills, knowledge and experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics
Experience & knowledge:
3 years Logistics experience.
Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
Knowledge of warehouse & inventory management.
Experience in 3PL management & performance improvement.
Cross functional liaison.
Language skills:
Japanese as working language
Preferable to communicate (written and spoken) in English
Characteristics
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
Innovative, able to identify and implement pragmatic effective improvement solutions
3rd party management skills
Customer service orientated
High level of verbal and written communication
Proven ability to function independently and as part of a team
High level of initiative
