The Transparency Lead & Monitor will work cross-functionally with stakeholders to manage the following activities. This position reports to Finance Operational Excellence (FOE) Manager under General Affairs, Finance & Strategy.

Manage activities of the transparency reporting initiatives to disclose transactions with HCPO as per the JPMA guidelines.
Conduct Transaction and Employee Business Expense (EBE) monitoring to establish excellent compliance controls for the Affiliate in accordance with relevant Finance policies and procedures including promotion of appropriate use of expenses and remediation of violations of the policies.
Provide technical support for financial analysis to develop business strategies in Finance & Strategy.

Major Responsibilities:

・JPMA transparency reporting

✓ Manage overall AbbVie Japan’s disclosure process based on JMPA's transparency guidelines and Clinical Research Law.

✓ Manage and update systems and processes to accurately collect and aggregate data required for disclosure including data validation.

✓ Coordinate responses to inquiries from external stakeholders (detailed disclosure requests, inquiries from HCPs, the authorities, the public, media, etc.)

✓ Work with Global/Area to ensure Cross Border Interaction reporting.

・Business expense monitoring & remediation planning

✓ Monitor and validate business expenses to ensure appropriate spending based on relevant finance policies.

✓ Report to FOE manager findings though the monitoring process and propose remediation actions.

✓ Jointly facilitate Compliance/Finance Monitoring Meetings.

・Finance analytical support

✓ Maintain access to necessary finance systems and be familiar with the data structure.

✓ Extract necessary finance data and process as requested on an ad-hoc basis.

資格

Basic:

Over 5 years of experiences in a business and finance environment.
Over 3 years of experiences in Pharma or Medical Device companies
Robust data analytical skills
Strong inter-personal and communication skills, comfortable working in a complex matrix organization
Ability to work independently, proactively and collaboratively
Ability to grasp best practices and use them to provide solutions
Intermediate or upper English language capability

Preferred:

Minimum 1 year for transparency related role
Project management skills
Strong logical thinking and problem solving skills
