Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaises and supports development of KEEs

  • Provides high quality medical and scientific support/communications to internal and external customers (e.g. advisory board meetings, training courses/workshops together with KEEs, support of speakers with presentations and literature research, collection of mVOCs and of insights, analysis and reflecting them on MA Plan, KEE engagement by scientific discussion, Scientific data dissemination, MR training)

  • Manages Phase IV studies and IIT and ensures that proposals are aligned with medical objectives within Ferring locally and globally.

  • Ensures study projects are in line with Brand objectives.

  • Ensures that planned local medical activities are transferred to physicians

  • Maintains high level of scientific and technical expertise in therapeutic areas. Develops and increases knowledge of medical literature.

  • Prepares and presents critical reviews of scientific publications and congresses, internally and externally.

  • Completes necessary documentations in order to ensure knowledge preservation.

  • Uses necessary tools to develop and follow up on strategic measures (project plans).

  • Monitors competitor activities.

Required Experience & Competences:

  • Master’s degree or above major in medical science or clinical medicine.

  • At least 5-10 years in scientific professional experience in the Medical Affairs/ Research department in the pharmaceutical companies

  • Ph.D in medical science or clinical medicine.

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience of oncology area as MSL with pre-/post-launch activities

  • Process management: Planning and organizational skills; self-starters that are capable of working effectively with limited oversight
