Mission statement:
Implement the agreed sales channel strategy (Distributors and OEMs) in Middle East & Africa market to improve Hitachi Energy market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Plan and execute channel initiatives and continuously monitor channel performance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities:
You will implement the agreed channel sales strategy and budget, contribute to the identification of appropriate channels and targets, provide channel strategy input for the sales team and help to harmonize the market sales and marketing plans.
You will contribute to achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) for the channel in the specified market, create detailed business plans, implement with regular follow-up and contribute to sales negotiations, negotiate frame agreements and create offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers.
You will identify and evaluate channel partners together with the Channel Manager, regularly reports progress against channel strategy, plan and budget, conduct analyses on channel activity and take ownership for solving problems identified.
You will collaborate with Marketing and Sales and execute those activities that require channel/segment partner participation, implement the planned communication, promotion and training activities in the channel/segment.
You will be support in driving strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, customers, other decision makers, evaluation/certification and training of channel partners and ensure training for channel and Hitachi Energy personnel in aspects of marketing analysis, market segmentation, demand creation techniques, channel models and cost structures, effective channel program development and channel metrics.
You will monitor client financial status and report any change regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams, responsible for identifying, manage risks relating to contract agreements and price across customers/ channels/segments and work closely with local integrity and compliance function team.

Your background:
Bacheor’s degree in engineering.
A master’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, electrical engineering or design or project management.
Willing to travel; to me more than 25%.
Proficiency & Fluent language in Japanese & English.
