Job Title: Operations Associate - Japan

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Start Date: ASAP

Reports To: Country GM

Role Purpose: to support the smooth running of Cove's properties in Japan. In this role, you'll help maintain operational excellence, ensure tenant satisfaction, and uphold our high property standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations to ensure properties run smoothly and tenants have a positive experience
  • Coordinate tenant check-ins and check-outs to ensure seamless transitions
  • Monitor maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions within budget
  • Support the upkeep of Cove properties to meet high-quality standards
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints, finding practical solutions
  • Help implement and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as tenant satisfaction (e.g., NPS scores) and response times
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Assist in managing housekeeping schedules for check-outs and weekly cleanings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, real estate) to support operational goals

What makes you a great fit:

Essential

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in any field (business-related is a bonus)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an operations/property management/related field
  • Experience in a customer-facing/service environment
  • People management experience

Preferred

  • Experience working in an early-stage start-up
  • Experience in hospitality
  • Experience in facilities management
