Who we are looking for

Custody Services is forming a new operations function for Corporate Actions in Fukuoka, as part of their global footprint strategy to provide follow the sun processing capabilities supporting our global custody and middle office clients across Global markets.

Candidates must be able to familiarize themselves quickly with corporate action events, and the underlying applications. Candidates must be well organized, pay attention to detail, take ownership for assigned tasks, and collaborate well with others. As part of a global function the candidate will be responsible for the accurate capture and validation of corporate actions responses, processing of client instructions to market, recording entitlements due, in the appropriate system, and handling client enquiries within client service level agreements and agreed quality standards.

Working in a global team, the candidate will liaise with colleagues and providers across multiple time zones. Extensive subject matter training is available through Corporate Actions Training Academy which comprises both classroom and web based modules.

What you will be responsible for:

As part of the Global Corporate Actions function you will:

  • Work in a global function where you will liaise with colleagues and market/service providers across multiple time zones.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and processing of clients instructions by the required market or third party custodian bank deadline.
  • Accurate and timely posting of client entitlements relating to Corporate Actions events.
  • Priorities workload to ensure all daily tasks are complete
  • Collate and review daily reporting
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of time critical issues
  • Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving the Corporate Actions service
  • Support the ‘Risk Excellence’ culture within the business
  • Adhere to limits of delegation and escalation procedures required by your manager so that you comply with internal policies and external regulations
  • Deliver effective client service
