About Organization

■Organization Introduction

Strategy & Product Office, to which the New Business Creation Department belongs, consists of three organizations;
- Organization that examines business strategies
- Organization that manages services after launch
- Cross-functional organization that creates synergies through mutual cooperation among the above organizations.

New Business Creation Department has members in their 20s to 40s with a wide range of ages and experiences regardless of whether they are new grads or mid-career.
New Business Development Section is in charge of planning, strategy and execution of new business at Rakuten Mobile.
We provide coordination, support, and consultation across departmental boundaries for the release of various new products and services.

・Able to involve in various phases of business, such as the growth phase (1 to 10) as well as the business incubation phase (0 to 1)
・Able to carry out business from strategy planning to execution in one go.
・Able to be deeply involved in management and execution.

Mandatory Qualifications:

・Experience of new service and new product development.
・Experience with IT-related business development (services, products (regardless for your own company or other companies)).
・ Communication with various stakeholders, experience of coordinating interests.
・Ability to execute multiple projects quickly and with high quality
・Ability to flexibly coorespond to environmental changes
・ English proficiency above business level

Desired Qualifications:

・3+ years experience in consulting or similar area
・Experience in driving cross-organizational projects
・Experience in business creation and new business planning to execution
・ Work experience related to telecommunications business

English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
