Product Engineer

Our Team

CSBU is a division that develops connectors for high-speed transmission used in communication equipment such as the data com market, using conventionally used copper alloys and insulating materials. (We do not develop connectors for optical transmission.)

Since CSBU does not have a manufacturing base in Japan, the Japan team mainly works on product design concepts that meet market and customer requirements. The biggest mission of this team is to create ideas for advanced development. Among high-speed transmission connectors, we especially design internally connected W to B connectors and B to B high-speed transmission connectors.

We also provide support to expand sales of CSBU products to domestic customers.

These jobs require knowledge of all CSBU products, as well as communication skills to receive support from overseas members.

What You Will Do

· Product design (mainly concept) of high-speed transmission connectors using 3D CAD and simulation software

· Presentation to Japanese customers and overseas teams

· Product specification review and decision

· Evaluation and investigation of prototype

· Sales and evaluation support for domestic customers

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

l Basic knowledge of connector/mechanical design

l Mechanical verification/analysis (FEA)

l Basic knowledge of high frequency

Japanese: Native level、 Upper Business Level

English: Business Level、Lower Business Level

What Will Put You Ahead

l Basic knowledge about designing and manufacturing PCB

l High frequency connector design experience

l Basic knowledge about connector manufacturing
