Position Name: Program Manager Tokyo Job
Annual Salary: 12 million yen and above
Responsibilities:
- Manage risk, budget, schedule for a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business or journey transformations
- Provide leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature program management capabilities
- Provide project and risk management oversight for all work-streams related to Operations, Compliance & Operational Risk, Finance, Risk, and business functions
- Assist the Program Office in ensuring that program governance is operating effectively
- Execute reporting to program leadership and key workstream leads on a weekly / monthly basis
- Align with leads of group functions and workstreams on a regular basis and support them in formulating and communicating program status
- Ensure that key program issues / risks are being managed effectively by all work streams
- Ensure that deliverables management processes covering the management of scope through tollgate, sign-off and change management concepts; overall roadmaps with key milestones and critical path are in place across all workstreams.
- Ensure that periodic Quality Assurance activities of key PMO processes are conducted to ensure adherence to program management framework
- Help drive standards targeting effective internal communication among all key program stakeholders
Product Owner Tokyo Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry with a strong understanding of Product Management discipline and 7+ years or equivalent experience in product owner role
- Ideally 10+ years of relevant experience in program management of large-scale business and technology transformation within a consulting firm or equivalent within financial services
- Project management experience using Waterfall / Agile / Scrum methodology
- Familiarity with software development practices, agile and waterfall
- Experience managing staff / vendors, in the capacity of matrix program manager / delivery manager
- Experience in Salesforce Financial Services cloud implementations would be an added advantage
- Proficient in Japanese language is a must
Japanese Languages: Native japanese level (JLPT N) and business level english required
