Role responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience as an onsite Project Manager.
- Experience with legacy system conversion.
- Solid technical background with an understanding of or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Language requirements:
- Native-level Japanese skills to understand existing system specifications and design documents.
- English skills are nice to have.
Nice-to-have skills:
- PMP or Scrum Master certification.
- Experience in leading multiple projects.
- Web development background.
- Willingness to manage operation projects.
