Project Manager - Web system development/ Securities

The client (Banking) has a complex legacy ecosystem built on various technologies such as COBOL, C, and VB/ASP. The engagement involves taking the client’s as-is environment and, through multiple projects over several years, uplifting and modernizing their entire stack.

Role responsibilities:

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Develop detailed project plans to track progress.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required skills:

5+ years of experience as an onsite Project Manager.
Experience with legacy system conversion.
Solid technical background with an understanding of or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
