Annual salary :7Million yen and above

Responsibilities

• Lead software projects working from customer’s office, acting as a bridge between customer stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Communicate requirements and expectations of deliverables with clarity.
• Understand customer needs, analyze software requirements and develop functional and non-functional specifications.
• Work breakdown, tasks estimation and scheduling tasks for the team.
• On-time delivery of work products managing stakeholder expectations.
• Work closely with stakeholders including customer and offshore engineering team to ensure successful execution of the projects.
• Address customer escalations and be proactive to identify and solve issues.
• Responsible to ensure smooth communication across all stakeholders.
• Conduct team meetings and customer meetings regularly. Provide various QA Metrics & Reports to all stakeholders

Onsite Project Lead Tokyo Job Qualifications:

• 7-12 years’ experience in software development projects.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language like C++/C#/Java
• Experience in designing and developing software for Desktop/ Web/ Mobile Applications.
• Fluent communicating in Japanese Language with proficiency level at JLPT N2 or Native Japanese
• Good understanding of project lifecycles (Waterfall/ Agile) and Quality Management.
• Experience in developing software under Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
• Well knowledgeable in tools for development and collaboration like, JIRA, Confluence, SVN, Git, MS Teams, Google Meet etc.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer or Electronics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in Consumer and Multimedia domain will be considered as a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills working with Japanese clients.
• Ownership of technical product delivery, quality of work involved and customer relationship management.
• Ability to manage priority and get things done on time.
• Flexible to work in a distributed and collaborative global team environment across time zones.
• Ability to judge technical complexity and estimate work volume – schedule, effort, resource plan.
• Self-motivated individual with accountability and responsibility.
