Description

The Proposal Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and managing proposals for clinical research projects. This position requires fluency in Japanese and business-level English to effectively communicate with global clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the clinical research industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, write, and edit high-quality proposals for clinical research projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, project management, and scientific experts, to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
* Review and interpret client requests for proposals (RFPs) and other related documents to ensure accurate and comprehensive responses.
* Create budgets, timelines, and project plans tailored to client specifications and organizational capabilities.
* Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
* Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders in both Japanese and English to clarify requirements, address questions, and provide updates on proposal status.
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.
* Assist in the continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and best practices.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
* Proven experience in proposal development, preferably within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong understanding of clinical research processes and terminology.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
