Team Summary
Risk and Identity Solutions team offers a comprehensive suite of Visa Protect Solutions to Visa clients to help prevent fraud across the entire payment journey, across all payment endpoints and networks- without stopping the flow of business. The Risk Analyst will provide risk consultancy to Visa clients, including Issuers, Acquirers and Merchants, to help them manage the risk of accepting payments online. This role is based in our Tokyo office and reporting into Director of Risk Solutions Services Japan.

The Risk Analyst will be responsible for managing the risk strategies for clients, which includes identify emerging fraud trends, developing strategies proactively to mitigate these trends using a combination of Visa and industry tools.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. A preferred candidate would have Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Finance, or Computer Science / Engineering, broad risk management experience working with issuers, acquirers and e commerce merchants on their fraud strategies using risk products such as Decision Manager, Visa Risk Manager or Visa Authentication Service. A strong communicator in influencing decisions at multiple levels and confident speaking to key stakeholders will be a plus, along with excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and influencing skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
