We are looking for a passionate Account Manager to join our Japan team and help drive sustainable growth in the beverage and confectionery market. This role is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a multicultural team and make a meaningful impact on the future of food.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Growth Targets: Meet sales goals and identify new opportunities aligned with the company’s strategies.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Build trusted relationships with customers by understanding their needs and market trends.
  • Market Leadership: Promote Corbion’s innovative solutions to strengthen our presence in Japan’s beverage and confectionery sectors.
  • Collaborative Planning: Develop and execute market and account plans that align with global strategies and local opportunities.
  • Strategic Insights: Monitor competitors’ activities and provide timely feedback to refine strategies.
  • Global Teamwork: Work with our Global Key Account Team to share insights and maximize business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Attributes

  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and solution-oriented.
  • Strong understanding of food science and the Japanese food market.
  • Skilled in sales techniques, negotiation, and relationship building.
  • Fluent in Japanese and business-level English (TOEIC 800+ preferred).
  • Proactive, positive, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agricultural Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years in food or food ingredients sales, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Familiarity with trends and technologies shaping the food and ingredients industry.
