Our Client Coverage Division in DWS we offer total solutions to fulfil our clients’ needs. The primary responsibility of Sales Coverage Support is working closely with Coverage Specialists in conducting wholesale activities and supporting several roles of retail related business, resolution of complex issues and direct the handling of the most sensitive client support interactions and ensure adherence to applicable internal policies and external legal/regulatory frameworks. Ongoing relationships with Sales Coverage team. Working relationships with origination, trading, client services, operations staff – if applicable & to the degree that is commensurate with the business area - to both gather information and direct client enquiries the most appropriate point to effectively resolve issues.

Role Details

As a Senior Sales Coverage Support, Retail, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparations of sales pitch materials, regular/ad-hoc client reporting, client letters in a speedy manner under time pressure. Time to time they need to download/processing of Bloomberg data. 4 eyes review of such the materials prepared by other staffs
  • Interaction with other team members or different divisions locally, regionally and globally to prepare RFP/RFIs
  • Understanding the overall business strategies and proactively support the entire team with the One Team spirit even for the difficult/complicated topics such as small fund terminations or fund structure changes.
  • On top of the above, the candidate is expected to take care of the client facing roles along with Senior Coverage Specialists for non-core clients (ad-hoc inquiries, KYC/KYIs, wholesale activities etc.) under the supervision of the reporting manager.
  • Strong teamwork mentality, with “Win as a one team” spirit
  • Accurately and successfully represent DWS including legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements and operate accordingly. Also Act according to the DWS Japan Client centric policy

We are looking for

  • Educated to BA degree level or above with at least 7-10 years minimum relevant experience in Investment/Asset Management or Financial Services is preferred, covering clients reporting. RFP roles.
  • Experience with proven ability to maintain/develop client relationship, preferably across asset classes
  • Product knowledge capable to explain and discuss sophisticated investment strategies and complex investment attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills – be able to build the trust and confidence of clients
  • PC skills (EXCEL, POWER POINT, WORD, BLOOMBERG etc), not just creating materials, but also need to be double check for our team member’s materials.
  • JSDA Level I is a must, but Company will support pre/after joining.
  • Native in Japanese (written, reading and speaking) and a Business professional English level (written, reading and speaking)
