We are looking for an experienced individual with experience in solution selling to buyside customers, helping us drive new sales revenue across Japan by selling our Research and Portfolio Management (buyside) Workflow solutions to both existing and new clients.

Your main accountabilities will be proactively prospecting, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. You will lead on deals and be seen by customers and colleagues as an expert in the buy-side workflow, specifically in Research and Portfolio Management. The role works in close partnership with internal and external partners to proactively drive growth.

How You'll be Successful

  • Proactively drives pipeline creation and gross sales with an ability to source leads and contacts for the respective client segment while helping develops a sales strategy within your sales territory, working closely with pre-sales and account teams

  • Reliably lead multiple sales opportunities with a good understanding of pipeline management and sales forecasting, while also acting as the ‘voice of the customer’ by encouraging product feedback and content requirements to our proposition team

Who you are

  • Experience within the buy side sector in a front-line quota bearing role. Understanding of buy side workflow including research & portfolio management
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings within the buy side
  • A self-starter with a consistent track record in a quota bearing sales environment with outstanding interpersonal social skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal partners
  • Specialist, experienced professional with knowledge and skills gained through multifaceted experiences in a field that requires diverse practices or procedures
  • Expertise in Asset Management workflow across different domains - Portfolio Management, Security Analysis, Macro Research etc.
  • Understanding of Asset Management Industry & the role of technology in money management
  • Solution selling framework
  • Business level proficiency with Japanese and English
