The Role:Do others come to you for your subject matter expertise? Are you excited by the challenge of working in a start-up atmosphere with a purpose? You will support the Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales team in winning new business through the creation of professional quality, differentiated proposals and managing the proposal development process from bid preparation, submission, contract negotiation and handover to Projects teams for Delivery. You will manage a Deal Team and act as the central point of contact throughout the proposal development stage, manage dissemination of information and, establish and maintain internal relationships with all key areas of the business and customer stakeholder management. In collaboration with the Sales leaders in the region, you will help set up the vision and winning strategy to compile the unique value proposition for each opportunity that Fluence is pursuing.

The successful applicant will: · Understand customer requirements and manage the efficient development and submission of the Proposal within the given timeframes. This will include proposal planning and scheduling activities across the Fluence and stakeholder teams.· Manage the preparation of tender proposals with multi-level stakeholder inputs, bid requirements, standard information and techno-commercial due diligence as required, in accordance with Fluence’s document standards and customer needs· Ensure every submission meets customer submission requirements and adhere to Fluence’s internal approval process · Bring fresh ideas to enhance the team. Support new tool and process implementation to further improve and optimize the use of team resources.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:· Bachelor’s degree qualified in Engineering or related discipline.· 3+ years experience in complex tender and bid management and value-proposition building, preferably on an EPC type project/opportunity.· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to negotiate with key stakeholders, ability to develop relationships across all facets of the business and build advocacy within the Asia Pacific region.· Demonstrated sales and client focused acumens· Ability to write – convey complex messages succinctly and with clarity· Ability to professionally communicate at all levels including C level· Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle pressure, to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging and highly interactive deadline-driven environment· Experience in Salesforce would be advantageous· Periodic travel within APAC is a potential requirement.
