DUTIES

Responsible for coordinating the delivery of advanced services, post-sales activities, and verification support services. Manages multiple advanced and verification support services for the client. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and delivering of all post-sales activities prioritized in alignment with the client’s expectations and business needs.

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE

  • Requires a strong background in IP or in technology relevant to their engagement to discuss and drive technical issues for the customer in an appropriate manner.
  • Has proven background in managing customers and a clear ability to understand how to prioritize, while considering both customer and Juniper requirements.
  • Demonstrates high-level achievement in cross-functional organizations.
  • Uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

JOB COMPLEXITY

  • Develops/maintains strong relationships with partners/customers and Juniper sales and service sales teams in order to assist in identifying new opportunities.
  • Becomes intimately familiar with the customer's technical goals and initiatives and provides key insight about such goals and initiatives within Juniper.
  • Coordinates corporate resources as they pertain to the support of assigned customers.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Backs up other Service Managers when they are not available.
  • Supports all post-sales account activity.
  • Proactively networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

EXPERIENCE

  • Typically requires at least five years working in a technical support environment plus 3-5 years working in a similar type of service role with customer satisfaction ownership responsibility.
  • 4 year - university degree preferred.
  • Fluent Japanese language ability with business level English

OTHER JOB

  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal communications, and customer management skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
