Project logistics is a specialized subset of the logistics industry that requires a fully integrated approach to the global orchestration of material flow, order management and shipment execution from multiple origins to a defined site location, including transportation of regular, out of gauge cargo (OOG) and other sensitive cargo across various transport modes (Ocean, Air and Land) with the objective to deliver in full, complete, on time and in the right sequence per the customer’s project plan and schedule.

Our experts are skilled in project transport solution design, special cargo transportation, specialized transport asset management, and project management services, including detailed planning, orchestration, and sequencing of end-to-end shipments from suppliers to often remote and austere destination sites.

In this role you will review, oversee, and develop local work processes that allow project teams to work within regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.

On any given day, the Site Transport Specialist be

  • Supervise loading and unloading of materials at storage areas and project site
  • Coordinate delivery schedule and communicate delivery changes with all involved stakeholders
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in case of delays and damages
  • Monitor and report transport risks
  • Collect delivery notice and handover document from transport supplier
  • Support invoice tracking for each deliveries
  • Coordinate transport equipment, tools and containers returning with involved stakeholder
  • Commission tool import / export tracking and cooperate involve stakeholders for customs documentation
  • Support site manager for inventory management of equipment / facilities.
  • Plan and implement appropriate resources at local level (staffing, training, equipment, and systms) to ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed the customer’s / Project managers expectations
  • Work collaborateively with key stakeholders (internally and externally) to ensure efficient operations according to project requirements
  • Risk management between interphases
  • Monitor and report on the agreed KPIs

We are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in transport operation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics operations and practices
  • SAP & MS Office knowledge
  • Good understanding of all aspects of Project & Stakeholder Management.
  • Knowledge of Wind/renewable components
