The Social Media Planner will work in the Marketing Intelligence & Communications with three internal business divisions (Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Fine Jewelry) and external partners, to build daily social media communication. The Social Media Planner will maximize the House’s social media presence across organic platforms in Japan and engage the local audiences and clients.

The successful Social Media Planner candidate has excellent knowledge and experience with social media tools and trends. The role requires detailed analysis and optimization to improve performance, and driving projects across multiple teams while supporting the Social Media Manager in the development of long-term communication, including building strategy and implementing optimal tools and platforms,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the Social Media Manager and working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure the success of LINE and X's communications strategy.
  • Working closely with the Client Engagement team to plan and execute optimal targeting and content distribution utilizing the client database and CRM program to increase customer loyalty.
  • Monitoring and analyzing social media posts to evaluate performance and improve effectiveness.
  • Leading day-to-day operations, including overseeing content posting calendars and directing internal teams and external agencies.
  • Working closely with the Social Media Planner and Assistant to collaborate and direct their work.
  • Communicating directly with local divisions and global teams to share insights and facilitate projects.
  • Working closely with LINE and X communications and marketing teams to define timing and objectives, and create synergies across platforms.
  • Monitoring budgets while working with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Collecting and sharing information across multiple teams, including Integrated Media, Research & Insights, and Omni-Channel Platform, to optimize social media content.
  • Proactively sharing updates on social media algorithms, platform news, and trends with stakeholders.

PROFILE:

  • Native Japanese and business-level English proficiency. (Reference: TOEIC score of 830 or above)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or CRM.
  • Excellent communication skill and a positive attitude towards negotiations and proposals.
  • Experience with social media posting and analytical tools.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the luxury industry is a plus.
  • Completion of degree-level education.
