【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】 As individual contributor of a team of individuals in Software Engineering, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution are about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, focus on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement. A Software Engineer in an Agile Framework is a dynamic role that involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions within the context of an Agile development process. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, teamwork, and adaptability to rapidly changing requirements. The Software Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software that meets user needs and business goals. You will be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in your field.
【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】 (雇入れ直後)
  1. Agile Participation: Actively engage in Agile practices such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's Agile processes.
  2. Software Development: Design, code, test, and debug software applications according to user stories and acceptance criteria defined in sprint planning. Ensure code quality and maintainability by adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with product owners to understand the product backlog and help prioritize work. Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and ensure a cohesive solution.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and execute unit tests, participate in peer code reviews, and contribute to automated testing efforts to ensure high-quality software releases. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications. Embrace a "build it, run it, own it" mentality for all software developed.
  5. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for software design, development processes, and user guides to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  6. Adaptability: Quickly adapt to changing requirements and new technologies. Be open to receiving and providing feedback to continuously improve team performance and software quality.
  7. Problem-Solving: Employ strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and implement solutions that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with team goals.

【就業環境に関する要件 / Specific Physical or Environmental Requirements】 •This position is remote and will be based in Japan.
【応募要件 / Qualifications】 <必須 / Required> •Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience.) •Minimum 3 years of related experience with a minimum of 3 years as a learning experience or interaction designer across multiple platforms. •Experience in WalkMe design principles, development, and deployment of WalkMe solutions •WalkMe builder experience with HTML (specifically j-query), CSS, and/or JavaScript to configure digital adoption content. Experience in common third-party APIs •Ability to maintain and prioritize the configuration, testing, and delivery of WalkMe Platform changes. Be the initial point of contact for logging and tracking such requests/changes. •Ensuring that training materials and Digital Adoption content (WalkMe, SharePoint, etc.) are maintained. •A natural enthusiasm and aptitude for learning new technologies and explaining technical issues to various audiences, including platform engineers, business process owners, and management. •Understanding what is being measured and evaluated against KPIs set forth to drive value back to the business. •Experience in developing and writing content for curricula or training materials; or creating and writing content for job aids, user guides, procedural/reference manuals, automated help systems or software documentation; or writing scripts or storyboards for instructional videos. •Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges. •Experience with Agile methodology and mindset. •Work experience across multiple cultures and regions, facilitating effective collaboration in diverse environments. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical experts.
<歓迎 / Preferred> •WalkMe Certified Builder Program Level 2 or 3 •Experience assessing needs and specific cases, quickly designing impactful and creative solutions, measuring results, and continually driving improvements for optimal outcomes. •Familiarity with multiple SAAS enterprise Software, such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Veeva, and Salesforce, will be an advantage. •Experience with WalkMe platform integrations, e.g. integration of WalkMeX with SAP’s Joule copilot •Knowledge of key business processes and how enterprise platforms and systems support these processes.

【給与 / Salary】 ①基本給:当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定 ②裁量労働制の場合:裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000~100,000円支給 ③フレックスタイム制の場合:月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給 ①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability. ②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000~100,000yen, based on the Grade) ③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
