Position Details

Specific Duties

- This position primarily focuses on acquiring new customers, handling new business negotiations obtained through inbound and outbound methods, proposals, orders, and project launches.

- The new sales department mainly handles negotiations to orders for appointments obtained through inbound, group company referrals, and outsourced partners. We conduct problem-solving sales based on hearing rather than product-out sales.

- There are various proposal targets, including various Rakuten Group businesses, major domestic e-commerce, overseas companies without a Japanese branch, municipalities, and manufacturers.

- Proposal products include our own platforms specializing in Affiliate/Influencer marketing, Google/Yahoo!/Meta/LINE ads, cutting-edge marketing solutions developed by our globally exclusive partners, Rakuten's BIG DATA, AI solutions, and other group knowledge. You will be responsible for planning, designing, proposing, and closing the optimal plan for solving customer issues and business growth.

- Competitors are mainly major domestic digital advertising agencies, but we make unique proposals utilizing Rakuten data and exclusive overseas tools.

- As the department that hears customer needs the most, you can also be involved in service development and restructuring based on those needs.

- Extracting marketing issues of stakeholders and planning marketing strategies and tactics to solve them.

- Communication with internal and external stakeholders necessary for executing strategies and tactics.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Over 3 years of experience in solution-based corporate sales handling internet-related products (experience in the advertising industry is not required).
