Position Details

You will be responsible for planning and promoting marketing strategies for the business operations of Rakuten Vissel Kobe.
The sports business of the Rakuten Group is an advanced environment where data marketing is highly developed within the Japanese sports business industry. Based on behavior analysis both inside and outside the stadium linked to Rakuten member IDs, we can quickly formulate strategies and execute the PDCA cycle based on facts. This allows us to solve fundamental issues and achieve rapid evolution, which was difficult in traditional sports business.
The scope of work and management positions will be considered during the selection process based on your career and experience.
Examples of Job Responsibilities
- Planning and promoting strategies for long-term fan development (expanding event revenue, maximizing LTV, etc.)
- Planning and promoting strategies to deepen fan engagement
- Planning and executing communication strategies along the fan journey, and improving through the PDCA cycle
- A series of tasks aimed at mobilizing fans and supporters, planning and operating fan development organizations such as fan clubs
- Enhancing organizational capabilities related to marketing (KPI formulation, understanding customer insights, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, performance management, etc.)

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Over 3 years of experience in product/service marketing and brand marketing (experience in planning and promoting strategies for sales growth and brand awareness)
- Experience in researching and analyzing competitive markets and planning products/services based on the findings
- Proficiency in Office software necessary for marketing activities
*Excel: Creating data tables (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF functions, etc.)
*PowerPoint: Experience in creating presentation materials (animations, master slides, utilizing Word/Excel, etc.)
*Word: Experience in creating documents (formatting, setting up tables of contents, headers and footers, inserting graphs, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in the sports business or any IP business
- Experience in developing new businesses (B2C)
