Your Job

Work independently to develop and optimize assigned automation project. Continuously improve production manufacturing technology. Troubleshoot and solve equipment issues in regards to ongoing production as well as with new product introductions.

What You Will Do

• Design new machine Vision(partner with mechanical design engineer) for with process engineer or R&D engineer
• Integrate machine Vision into one control system for automation machine development.
• Support sustain/maintenance team for existing equipment improvement.
• Develop equipment specification and acceptance requirement with process engineer and supplier for the equipment ordered externally.
• Provide training, guidance and support to production and specialized personnel.
• Tracks projects using internal methods for summarizing component cost, labor, and leadtime. Develops accurate, up-to-date BOM’s and Spare Tooling Lists.
• Understands, supports, and contributes to complete projects according to internal product development procedures, TQM and IS/QS-9000 requirements. Embraces Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• BS, major in machine vision or relevant.
• More than 5 years experience in large manufacturing plant or professional equipment company, with minimum 3 years working experience in Vision program design, experience in automation environments.
• Be proficient with Labview and Cognex InSight.
• Pro-active & Positive
• Scheduling and budgeting
• Design experience in the machine Vision.
