Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating integrated direct marketing campaigns that align with and support the sales team and our key channel partners.

You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of these programs designed to drive engagement in Japan and pipeline generation through multiple channels.

The right candidate will have a clear understanding of B2B software marketing, especially Cyber Security solutions, with a strong background in customer acquisition strategies and relationship management.

This role will drive both direct and indirect lead generation programs such as events, content syndication, online advertising, webinars, customer case studies, and channel enablement initiatives to new lead acquisition and pipeline generation (converting to sales results) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute on lead generation programs to increase leads and enhance the quality of leads delivered to the sales team and channel

• Build the marketing programs including partner joint activities with the appropriate on-line and off-line mix such as events, tradeshows, search, social, direct mail, email, webinars, content syndication.

• Develop campaigns to entice new prospects and motivate customers with the Japan region

• Ensure consistency with brand messaging and voice

• Work closely with sales teams to identify and develop new offers, content and sales promotion tools

• Partner with the global marketing team to ensure that you are aware of the latest marketing programs and localise and leverage the campaigns & materials when applicable

• Liaison with suppliers such as media advertising agencies, PR agencies, telemarketers, and direct marketing agencies on an as needed basis

• Manage campaign budgets and timelines

Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, Mid-market marketing experience preferred

• A good understanding of the Cyber Security and Data Protection industry

• Experience working in marketing with proven success and high initiative in the creation and execution of effective demand generation marketing campaigns

• Experience with a variety of marketing activities, including social, web, email marketing and webinars

• Must be extremely well organized but need to be flexible to handle changes in priorities

• Must have the ability and confidence to communicate marketing plans and successes internally to ensure coordination across channels

• Adaptable to a fast paced, technology driven, environment

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Experience with Marketo and Salesforce including the reporting elements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred

• Language: Japanese Native / English Fluent
