Client Details
Our client is a multinational company that manufactures construction tools and building maintenance equipment. The company was founded in Europe over 50 years ago and they have since expanded their presence to over 100 countries. The Japan office has over 500 employees and the Japan HQ is located in Yokohama.
Description
* Conduct demand planning for inventory that will be imported from overseas factories
* Conduct demand planning for inventory that will be domestically manufactured and purchased
* Issue purchase orders according to demand forecasts and customer needs
* Monitor shipping status and control inventory at warehouse site
* Collaborate internally with commercial and customer service teams to understand customer demands and ensure order fulfillment
Profile
* Minimum 2 years of supply chain planning experience
* Experience working in a manufacturing company
* Experience using Excel required; experience using ERP systems preferred
* Fluent Japanese skills required and business level English skills preferred
* Must be a resident of Japan and/or must hold a valid working visa for Japan
