Job Duties

We are seeking a skilled IP Networking QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team within the IP Networking division of a leading Mobile Network Operator (MNO). The successful candidate will be responsible for Cisco ACI and routing operations, feature validation, network optimization, and automation.

Responsibilities
ACI and IP Routing Operations:
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco ACI, NXOS and IP routing infrastructure.
Ensure network stability and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Feature Validation:
Design and execute test plans for new network features and enhancements.
Validate network configurations and changes to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Network Optimization:
Analyze network performance and implement optimization strategies.
Identify and resolve network bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Automation:
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline network operations.
Implement automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

• In depth knowledge and working experience of Cisco ACI fabric, APIC controller, 9K switches and Datacenter technologies.

• Strong knowledge of IP networking concepts, including IP routing, switching, VLANs, VXLAN and EVPN.

• Proficiency in network protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, and TCP/IP.

• Understanding of Datacenter cables types, Pluggables types and form factors

• Hands-on experience with network testing tools (e.g., Wireshark, Ixia, Spirent) and network management systems.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for test automation.

• Familiarity with network security principles and practices.

Process Knowledge:

• Understanding of FCAP (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance Management) and ITIL processes.

Experience:

• 8-12 years of experience in IP networking and Quality Assurance.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCIE or equivalent are highly desirable.

English (Overall - 3 - Advanced)
